Last night over 4000 of you called in to my telephone town hall. Thank you for calling, I appreciate your willingness to share your thoughts and ideas. And I think we covered a good range of topics - from energy policy, to the economy to health care reform.
Tonight, at 6:30pm CST, I am hosting a telephone town hall. I am eager to hear your thoughts and ideas on environmental topics, specifcally our plan for clean energy jobs and oil independence. I also welcome your feedback on health care and the economy, as I know that these issues are pressing to many residents.
I was very disappointed to hear the recent announcement of the idling of the Chrysler Engine Plant in Kenosha. In this tough time, I stand behind the Wisconsin auto industry and the Obama Administration and support the plant workers and their families.
We voted today for improved enforcement and prosecution of mortgage and corporate fraud, in a bill that passed with overwhelming support, 367-59.
